The Hunter Sailboat’s popularity is due, in part, to its wide variety of sizes and styles. The models vary from day sails, on the smaller side, to midsize for the overnight or weekend cruise, to the largest models, intended for offshore sailing. The Hunter interior effectively utilizes all its space while boasting numerous features. There is no back stay, so your driving main sail is much larger. Some models do have the main and head sail with roller furling, which makes navigation much easier.
Underneath the floor boards, a unique grid system gives the sailboat a strong structure. You’ll notice this when sailing in rough waters, because there is no echoing sound when cutting through the waves. The cockpit area is suitable for entertaining and the stern area provides easy docking access.
I find the larger sized Hunters handle terrific when sailing coastal or offshore, having single handed numerous times. All the lines come right to the cockpit. With the additional of autopilot, navigation is very simple. The center cockpit provides an aft deck sunning area. The stern seating provides seating for guest. Down below, the salon features a dinette and settee with ample storage. Forward, you’ll find a stateroom with ensuite head and shower. Aft, is your master stateroom with a queen sized bed and another head with shower. The galley provides plenty of space for cooking and storing things.
The Hunter Sailboat gives you the perfect way to set off to your favorite destination. Whether your journey is short or long, there’s plenty of room for a comfortable journey for you and your guests.
