Hunting Is In Our Blood

From the beginning of time men have been hunters. It was a necessity to survive and I'd like to think that even men back then men enjoyed the thrill of the stalk and kill as we do now.

Even when the first explorers landed on America's soil they hunted and fished to eat and survive. Lewis and Clark wrote about their adventures hunting and fishing America as they explored across this great land.

Hunting has been passed down from generation to generation from father to son. Now it's being passed down from father to son and daughter and even from mother to daughter which is exciting and great to see happening.

Hunting and fishing is an important part of our heritage not only as Americans but as human beings. Every country and every culture has hunted or continues to hunt to this day. Hunting and fishing is as natural as waking up and eating breakfast every morning. It's ingrained in our blood, it's part of who we are and what we stand for. Nothing connects you closer to mother nature then being out there stalking game or reeling in that big trout or bass.

It's sad to see a large part of our culture losing touch with their roots and heritage. And even actually trying to take away our rights to pursue the things we love and things our ancestors have done for thousands of years.

We as Americans who live in the best country in the world owe it to ourselves and future generations to preserve our rights and keep hunting and fishing alive forever.
