I Just Hate Article-writing. Surely There's An Easier Way?!

Every one that owns a website knows that running, maintaining and owning a web business just plain needs articles. It's obvious even to those that are regular internet users but don't yet have sites. People spend hours and hours at their computers, mostly doing one thing. No not that! They are reading, learning, lapping up information, and it is articles that provide that information (along with the benefit of a little self-promotion).

Your articles provide a great way of attracting higher page rankings from search engines, with keyword phrases and keywords that relate strongly to your site. The self promotion mentioned earlier comes in the form of backlinks to your site within the article and/or it's resource box. When the reader of your well-crafted article has enjoyed reading it, and you have built a rapport with the reader, you can be sure he/she will be far more inclined to click on your link, and your conversion rate will soar. Your articles also provide an opportunity to build trust and confidence in your reader which increases the possibility of them becoming a customer.

Providing a suite of articles in the same field, or "micro-courses" covering a complete subject will prove very worthwhile too. This way you can soon find yourself with a fanbase of people waiting for your next article. They will tell their friends and workmates about you and they will read your works, and your traffic will increase. Your readers will frequently become customers, so you can't afford to skimp on both quality, and to some degree, quantity. Getting your readers to trust you as a business becomes far easier when your readers can read that you have more than a passing knowledge of whatever your product is.

Right, on to the meat. We have already shown just how important articles are to your internet business. They are the absolute crux of internet marketing. A site without at least one relevant, up to date article will never succeed. Sadly, many people suffer from a very common problem. They simply HATE writing articles!

The vast majority of webmasters can be found doing almost anything OTHER than spending time creating an article. As well, there are few marketers that have the resources to afford either staff, or hire freelance article writers to provide them with material. As for simply ripping off someone elses artilce and passing it off as yours, just don't. It's not just that it's nit nice to steal, you could very easily find yourself on the receiving end of a court-case. You might be lucky and just get a fine and lose friends in the community, or you could be spending time behing bars. So just don't do it.

"Ok, you got me, so what can I do? You know I hate writing."

Very well, there is a simple solution to this problem. If you are not able to afford to have them written for you, and you hate writing that much, get free ones. "Well, why didn't you sy so? And where can I get some?". I'm glad you asked me that because I can tell you. You can find free articles in the public domain. If you do a search for "free articles" (without the quotes), you will find heaps of free resources available to you. With these you won't have problems with copyright infringements because you have been given permission by the author to use them as you like. One to get you started is a free membership site with free plr articles for download, and it's regularly updated with new stuff. Pop over to Free-Articles-At.Plr4All.com and join up now.

You can tweak it, change it a bit here and there to make it your own, even put your name to it if you choose. This is a good thing to do as well. The reason for changing it is twofold. Firstly, the article is free, so there are going to be many others using the same article and in the same niche as you. Maybe even selling the same product. So you need to make it unique. Also it provides opportunity for you to slip in a few more links to your site. Don't overdo it though. Keyword/link density for an article should be about 3%. More than that can be seen as spamming by the spiders and your article will not be ranked.

Relevancy is also key to success. You need to make sure you use articles that are to do with your niche. This will also help improve the spiders ranking of the link to your site and is something to always keep in mind.

But, and I'll be honest here, as always, the absolute best way to squeeze everything you can out of an article, you do need to have totally original ones. Save up for a week or two. Have one or two less pints of beer this week, or take sandwiches to work instead of buying from the deli for a few days. Just that small amount can buy you a unique article. Not all freelance writers cost the earth, and there are many excellent part-time article writers looking to earn a few bucks too. Eager to write you an article in your niche containing all the keywords and keyword phrases you need. Just look around the net, you'll find them easy enough.

That ten-twenty bucks you pay for your article could be the start of your turning-point. You see, you will own all rights to that article to do with as you wish. You can turn it into an ebook, another product even. You can also sell rights to the article. You can sell Master Resell Rights, or Private Resell Rights, or give/sell as PLR. Your investment could soon earn enough for you to buy more unique articles in your niche/s.
