Flying an RC mini helicopter is fulfilling, exciting and most definitely won’t cost you a fortune to get started So What’s So Great About The Syma S107 Mini Helicopter? Already put together in the box, all you need to do is straighten out the propellers. You can buy re-chargeable batteries and recharge them yourself or via the helicopter cable. Mini RC helicopters are not expensive, so even if you accidentally smash it into your car, you will not have lost a fortune. Flying is balanced so that controlling it is more intuitive, and the reactions of the mini helicopter are really quite impressive. Rev the little engine and push it up and over for a 360 degree back flip, or do an air equivalent of a handbrake turn in mid air. The body alloy is durable and the blades are made of sturdy plastic. Both the blades and body are flexible enough to withstand some nasty crashes and again and again will take some punishment before breaking. The gyroscopic function is really very good when it comes to hovering. It hangs in the air with a fair amount of stability, without buzzing to and fro like a midge in a summer wind. It is a mini RC helicopter, so be aware of the usual hazards. It is only small so it will not take well to a lot of wind, be that outside, or be it from fans and air conditioners. It’s infra red is also a little temperamental when it comes to bright sunlight outdoors, so think of weather conditions. The battery lasts only 5-6 time really flying time and then twenty minutes to recharge which is a shame in some respects, but then again the helicopter is small, so any addition of further batteries would mean it needs to be bigger. There are fakes and clones of the Syma S107 out there, so please beware. There are companies cranking out cheaper versions that are not as aerodynamic. They also break easier, so please be aware of the possibility, and check up as much as you can to be sure you are getting the genuine article. Try the Syma s032 mini helicopter instead. Flying mini RC helicopter will not break the bank, and if you do fly it into a wall once too often, then you are not losing a massive amount of money if it breaks. They are a fun and inexpensive little toy for people of all ages, and are a fun little distraction for a few minutes of your spare time. Well worth the buy.
