Parents who say "I want to transform my child" apparently don't appreciate their kid's behaviour. Prior to revealing to you what you should do, I would like you to understand that young children aren't bad. Their behaviour can certainly be bad but not them, for the very reason that their personality is a work in progress, and you are doing that work. What I mean is that transforming your child for that reason means changing your own behaviour too. But I guess that if you ask "how to transform my child?", you already realize you're the one who has to solve the problem and asking your child to change is pointless.

Basically, it all starts with a structure, a guideline. From my own experience, applying a parenting guide is the most appropriate decision you can make. I wanted to "transform my child" at some point too and applying advices from other parents where not efficient enough.
