Many retired seniors in the US like to live in cities where the climate is good and the people live easy lives. Social statistics indicates that most people in their retirement simply want to live with fellows their age. The most favorable places for them are those with low crime rate and modest cost of living. Although the United States generally has high cost of living, there are cities that allow even pensioners to live a good life. These are some of the best places in the U.S. to retire.

Bellingham, Washington

For many American retirees, the best place to retire in the world may just be within the United States. If the bustling urban sites seem unfavorable, small towns surrounded by vast countryside may be the perfect choice.
