For starters you can use the fabric softener sheet to dust your furniture. This will repel much of the future dust from clinging to your furniture; which helps you avoid cleaning your furniture everyday. Utensils and other cutlery that you eat with should be taken special care of. They should be cleaned scrubbed, rinsed and dried. Be sure they don't smell of any residues and soap. You can also use home made solutions to clean them like lemon juice, or paste of lemon juice and salt. The sponges used for cleaning these utensils should be cleaned as well. Be sure to thoroughly dry them in order to avoid the growth of bacteria. Delicate items like showpieces and crystals should be cleaned with proper handling. You should soft bristle brushes to clean the fragile items in your home. Petite breakables can accumulate dirt in little places that are so very hard to reach. Try using a paintbrush or an old tooth brush to reach into these places and clean them. Another option is to use a blow dryer. This is quicker but you have to make sure that you run the dryer on a low speed. Wash your floors with a damp mop. Take advantage of the vacuum cleaner when trying to refresh your carpets.
