Immunizations-what Every Parent Should Know

It sounds like the best thing in the world that you can do for your kids. Keeping them safe from catching some awful disease is a pretty good idea. What is not absolutely positive is the fact that some of the immunizations can be worse than the illnesses they are supposed to be stopping. It seems that there is a whole coalition that wants you to believe that you need to give your kids the different shots because they need them to survive. Many schools and the government in general tries to push immunization and requires it for kids to go to public school.

There are ways to avoid immunizing your kids if you don't want to. Some people can claim that it is against their religion to do such things and then they don't have to. If you don't think that you want to give your kids these then basically the truth is you don't have to. It is not just a religious decision but is a personal parental one as well.

Over the past year many of the issues that relate to immunizations have been brought to light. One of the biggest issues by far is the link between immunizations and Autism which it gradually being swept back under the rug and many groups also believe that immunizations are also seen in conjunction with SIDS as the very first round of childhood vaccines occurs at the 3 month mark as does the highest instance of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Some would lead you to believe that this coincidence is just that but there very well could be more to the story that we are not being told.

As a parent, the decision about whether to have your child immunized or not is truly your decision to make. Don't allow yourself to be coerced by the doctors or the school system, the decision and the responsibility for the consequences that follow that decision are in your hands.

Take the time to do your own research and look at what info is out there about the whole immunization thing before jumping to a decision. It is smart to talk to all sorts of people before you decide what to do. You need to get both sides of the story and look at the different arguments for and against before you should decide for your own kids. There are some incredibly serious side effects that will happen to some kids. It is a very small number of kids that do have bad reactions, but if one of those is yours, it is devastating.
