Importance Of Gold In World Of Warcraft: How Do Players Earn More Of It?
Most World of Warcraft players can generally agree on one thing: They wish they had more gold. Gold plays an important role in the World of Warcraft just as money plays a VERY important role in our "real" world. It allows for the purchase of items, skills, and services from other players. Having gold makes the game plenty more enjoyable since much of the game is spent on killing monsters or performing services for gold. However, there are a few different ways that can surely boost your gold income and make the game that much more enjoyable.
- If killing monsters is your favorite way to get money, find monsters that are part of a daily quest or some other repeatable quest so you can continually turn in the quest and even further increase your income.
- If still leveling your character, pick up two gathering professions like mining and skinning or herbalism and skinning, or if you have the patience herbalism and mining. (The last combination is not recommended since you can only have one tracking skill active at once)
- Find an un-populated area to farm items, even if they don't sell for as much gold . In many cases, people get caught up farming popular items that sell for a lot of gold but make very little because of competition. There are plenty of other items that sell for less but are not farmed as much, so you can gather more and make just as much if not more
- If still a low level, befriend some nice players, join a guild, and get to know each other. Many times guilds and friends are willing to help you by giving you things like high-level bags so you can hold more items so you can sell them either to vendors or on the auction house.
- Find out a good rotation, that is, find out how many of the mob you are farming you can take on at once, and find out how to best use your skills to kill them the quickest. It doesn't seem like it helps much, but a few seconds shaved off of every pull can add up after time to hours even days of saved /played time.
- Put Everything that is of green quality or better in the auction house. You can often times make 10 times the amount of gold as you would from just selling the item to a vendor.
All in all, gold is a very important aspect of World Of Warcraft, but players mustn't let it ruin the game as it is much easier to earn than most people make it out to be.
