TexasSure is a large database system that links the Vin number of every registered car in Texas with its license plates and insurance policy number. This allows police officers the ability to know immediately whether or not a vehicle they pull over has the car insurance that it needs. It also helps law enforcement officers protect the many Texas drivers who spend more than $1 billion dollars every year in optional uninsured motorist insurance.
