Inspirational Songs From The 80s

Great songs are definitely an inspiration for all of us, this is why there are some songs that will live forever in our hearts and minds. The 80’s have produced some great songs that still rock and that will probably be impressive for a very long time to come. Here is a compiled list of songs that will rock your world whenever you will play them.

Europe – The Final Countdown - The synthesizer riff in the original track from the 1986 is what makes the song so special. Where yet to find out what the countdown is all about but the song rocks in every way and most of us know to hum at least the chorus. Surely this is a motivational song so while you are listening to it you can simply do your gymnastic exercises or go jogging.

Wanted (Dead or Alive) – Bon Jovi – This is surely a great 80s song written by a blue collar steelworker from New Jersey that we all took seriously. The hockey hair color boy surely impressed us all when he threw his fit up and we surely believed him. Thousands of people were moved and are still moved by this song. You can listen to this song whatever you do and whatever activity you are engaged in and you will surely feel great.

Another one bites the dust – Queen - When Rocky was made, Sylvester Stallone wanted the song to be included in the movie. However it seems that Freddy Mercury refused to offer him permission to use the song. Not only was Sly offended by the move but also, three years later the song “One vision” was used in the movie Iron Eagle that was actually a total flops.

Love is a Battlefield – Pat Benatar – This love song comparing the most beautiful feeling on Earth with a battle field has become one of the most loved pop songs of the 80s. The quick rise of the song was mainly because it became the unofficial anthem of the unappreciated women of the 80s.

Holding out for a Hero – Bonnie Tyler – The song appeared back in 1984 and was a cry out for gentlemen that seems to have been missing at the moment. Bonnie Tyler begged for rescue and a man that could reconsider the art of shivery.

The eye of the Tiger – Survivor – The song was especially written for the movie Rocky III at the special request of Sylvester Stallone. The tune was created for the inspirational passages of the movie after Freddy Mercury refused to give them the rights to use “Another one bites the dust”. The song was quickly transformed in an anthem for survival and beating impossible odds.
