Internet Marketers – Make Great Money While Building A Huge Mailing List
I’m sure that all Internet Marketers are well familiar with the mantra “The money is in the list”. This is true but it can’t just be a list of emails and names. Your list needs to be targeted to an audience that wants or needs what you have to provide and is ready to buy. Your second concern is how do you build the list? Here we’re going talk about some of the things involved and offer a solution that can save you a great deal of time and possibly money.
So, how do you build such a list? There is a lot involved.
You have to research to see if there is a market for your offering.
You have to do keyword research to find profitable keywords.
You have to have a domain.
You have to have hosting for your domain.
You have to have some sort of autoresponder that you need to set up for your list.
You have to create either an email series or a newsletter that you have to set up in your autoresponder.
You have to either create or hire someone to create squeeze pages to capture your list members.
You have to have Thank You and Landing pages again created by you or hired out.
Finally, you have to advertise your offering to drive traffic to your landing and squeeze pages.
Obviously, all this is going to take a lot of time and potentially a lot of money.
So what’s the solution? It’s simple. There are a lot of list building membership programs designed to do all the work except for promotion. Generally the format is as follows:
They will provide you with all the promotional materials you need, including email examples, ad examples, article examples and graphics.
They will provide you with your own promotional page that already has everything you need, including good sales copy.
They are set up in an MLM format with anyone joining through your promotional page becoming part of your “downline”, i.e. mailing list. These are people that you can send promotional emails to just as you could with a traditional list.
The emails you send are never spam because everyone who joins is agreeing to receive emails from their upline.
Your downline is going do the same things that you are doing because that builds their list, which is why they are there in the first place.
How do you make money from this? Simple:
By promoting products and services to your downline, i.e. mailing list.
Most of the services have free and paid versions. Once people see the benefits of the paid versions they will upgrade and you will get a percentage of that. In some cases, it’s a one time payment, in others it’s a monthly membership and will earn you recurring commissions.
Since the program is an MLM style format you will also earn a certain percentage from ALL upgrades in your downline. How much and how far down that goes depends on the program but has the potential to bring you SERIOUS income.
