Internet Marketers - You Cannot Make Everyone Happy
A Little while ago, I wrote a series of books on mindset, which helps to run a business and the opinion that I have shared was very straightforward. I explained that, to have success some one needs to work hard and it is not so easy. Most of the readers of those books were very thankful for the honesty and few readers didn’t agree with that, which is interesting. If you are honest, people say you are wrong and may be they want to believe that get rich quick schemes only works.
Fine, you might be wondering what my point is and what it has to do with the topic of this article. Don’t worry; I will be explaining that in due course and before that, read the above paragraph again which, really reflect on it and what I’ve just explained. When you think about it, it’s really pretty mind boggling with lots of people have complaints about marketers just behind your money. Now it is time to get started with the points.
You can not please every one, no matter how honest you are, how many facts you present, how great your product is, how fantastic your customer service is, how hard you work to please people. If you could learn that one lesson, your life would become much better as an Internet marketer and let me explain why.
All of a sudden, you will have your day where you will get all these sales; you feel really good and you feel that you are top of the world. At the same moment you get an email from furious customer who describes your product is crap and they ask for a refund. Now, all the good that you experienced that day is out the window since somebody just called your product, your child a crap which isn’t a good feeling and I’ll admit, back to square one which used to bug me.
There are people who don’t agree with you, no matter what ever you do. Even if you point up to the sky and say it is blue, they will say, “It isn’t.” in spite of you showing them all the proof in the world. You can even get the best scientists and the greatest minds in the world to proof that the sky is blue and it doesn’t matter and to this person, the sky will be any color but not blue.
Once you understand this, there will always be those who will call it crap, no matter how hard you work on your product to make it the best that it can be. The basis is to understand this, maybe get some feedback on it which is tough and then move on. If you find areas that need to be enhanced, do it. But don’t try to give pleasure to every one.
