I wished this wasn't a subject that had to even be talked about. However, since the beginning of time, if there was an easy buck to be made by getting over on the unsuspecting then it was done. It's no different today than it was back then I suppose. That is the primary reason my blogs exist to begin with. Have I been safe guarded against this online evil?
Absolutely not! I have been taken for a few hundred bucks. The only thing I can say is thank god it wasn't my last few hundred bucks. When things finally turned the corner for me is when I ran across just by chance, a site that was promoting what that particular person was using.
So how do you protect yourself from online scams? There is one hard fast rule to follow and this as well has been around since the beginning of time. "IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, THEN IT PROBABLY IS" Get rich quick schemes don't work and if you remember that things take time to build, you'll have a better chance of avoiding scams online.
The thought process of quick riches is what I call stinkin thinkin. Simply by ridding yourself of stinkin thinkin and believing that you can get rich overnight online, will go a long way in protecting yourself, because you won't be buying into those sales ads that promise it.
There are a group of people online who are very safe to deal with, and in reality there are only a couple handfuls that I stick with. They are the tried and true and I pretty buy in complete safety with these people. But the choice is yours and all I can do is provide you with information to help.
Just remember if you are ever considering a purchase, before you get all geeked up and whip out that wallet sit back for a minute and look at what it is they are promising. Are you just buying in on the sales ad and are they telling you that you are going to make said number of dollars in said amount time?
I hope this information helps keep you safe in the future, and that you come to realize some terrific successes with an online business. It's the real deal, and I believe anyone with the right tools and info can have a thriving business online.
