Your blog posting is a very critical element that contributes significantly to the development of your site. People will either be attracted or repelled by the quality and consistency of the blog entries they find on your platform. If what they find is not quality content they probably will not return, however if they like what they see it is more likely they will not only come back but refer others as well. Of course you always want visitors to return, but it is the viral power of their recommendations that can really explode your blog traffic. How is it then you can create blog entries that are not only appealing, but also buzz worthy, compelling visitors to recommend your site to others?

On any content you post if you have any insights to share do not hesitate. It is normal that when viewing the same exact picture, scenario or information that people tend to see things a little differently. This has everything to do with our individual experiences and backgrounds and is what also adds 'flavor' to otherwise 'vanilla' content! People are always interested in what others think or say since this helps them to form their own opinions as well. Consider 'fashions' for instance, what is in and out of fashion is actually what others may think it to be, however most people are compelled to know these things. Why? So they too can follow the trend or in this case the opinions of others!

Provocation

Anything you can say or do to stir a reaction from readers is generally a good thing. Comments left are a sign of an active platform and a great way to increase your blog traffic. If others stop by and see the 'activity' they will want to see what it is all about and will likely call attention to it by notifying their friends as well. By posting blog entries that may go 'counter' to public opinion, you will most likely create the 'stir' you want, just do not go too overboard!

Satirical News Reporting

Many blogging platforms base all their content on current news, and what can make it really intriguing is to include your own 'tongue in cheek' message as well. News is news but if you report it in a comical fashion, or with your own subtle personal commentary, it will get noticed. This is a talent that if you have it, use it, since it will draw a lot of attention for you! You will never be at a loss for quality content and all you have to do is 'add' your message and/or humor, or both!

Your blog posting efforts are the most important investment of any effort you put into developing your site. It is the blog entries that people see when they land on your platform that help them to decide whether to return or not. Of course if they really like what you posted, they are more inclined to recommend the site to their friends, and this is ultimately what you want. Referrals like these can literally explode your blog traffic due to the viral effect these recommendations can have. By consistently posting quality content and adding that little extra 'buzz appeal' as discussed above, your blog stands to benefit from a significant boost in traffic!
