Is It The End On Doomsday 2012?

On December 21, 2012, various cataclysmic and trans-formative incidents is about to take place, otherwise known as Armageddon 2012 or the 2012 phenomenon. That date is also said to be the finish of the 5,125 years in the Mayan Long calendar.

According to New Age believers, the world is about the experience a spiritual transformation during this time and therefore interprets the 2012 predictions as the beginning, instead of the end of the world. However, based on the Book of Revelations, many people understand that this date is the end of the world. Among the possible situations that would end the world include the planet’s clash with another planet (Planet X), black hole explosion, or the emergence of the next solar maximum. Some people even created 2012 official countdown, in anticipation of what will happen to the world that day.

The Mayan Calendar was constructed around 250-900 AD by an advanced civilization called the Mayans. The Mayan civilization was exceptional during their times because they were skillful in writing, construction, and urban planning. Mayans are also famous for their pyramids and complex buildings. The Mayans also used many calendars and viewed time as spiritual cycles. The calendars that they used were short, combined each of their calendars, and created the 5,125 years Mayan Long calendar. How does the end of their calendar connect with the end of the world? The Mayan prophecy is based on the theory that something bad will happen when the long calendar runs out on what many people call Armageddon, December 21, 2012, scientists say.

Another prediction about December 21, 2012 is the coronal mass ejection from the sun. In 1859, coronal mass ejection occurred that affected the telegraph system in North America and Europe. This is said to happen again in the year 2012, in addition to widespread massive blackouts and satellite destruction,

Another prophecy is the explosion of black hole. When it happens, the cosmic ray waves from the black hole may cause intense and destructive tsunamis on the planet.

Is Doomsday really the end of the world? When something ends, many people assume the extreme possibilities of ending. However, according to archaeologists, the Mayans predicted an age of enlightenment when 2012 comes. Worldwide wreckage, Aztec end of the world, and Mayan Long calendar prophecy have no real basis. There was no mention of Armageddon in any Mayan literature. The notion of a disaster happening in 2012 has been dismissed by scholars from various disciplines since no predictions are found in classic Maya accounts or in astronomy. NASA meanwhile has compared 2012 fear to the Y2K bug in the late 1990s.

For many years now, the Armageddon 2012 prophecy has been in the topic of many conversations. There are two sides of the coin- one says there will be global destruction, while the other says there will be enlightenment. No one can really know what will occur until that day arrives.
