It Only Matters What You Think
Our man has a breakthrough later in the show where he realizes that he needn’t be embarrassed or ashamed of having to “read his magazine” as he called it. Now when he walked down the hall, he saw the same people, with the same expressions on their faces, but now he imagined them saying, “Good for you, you go read that magazine.” The next, “I knew you could do it, you overcame your fear.” Interesting, huh? As silly as it sounds, the show carried a powerful message. We can’t know what other people are thinking. We can’t read their minds. We only imagine that we can. So why not imagine them thinking good thoughts on our behalf? My mentor used to say, “What you think about me is none of my business.” Remember your job is to keep the good thoughts flowing. Keep them coming and then good things come to you. But when you stop to imagine others thinking negatively about you, it reverses that flow and slows down your good in coming. According to Joseph Murphy in his book, Think Yourself to Health, Wealth & Happiness: "You are building your mental home all the time. The thoughts you think, the ideas you harbor, the beliefs you accept, and the scenes you rehearse in the hidden studio of your mind are the building materials of your mental home. This stately mansion, the construction of which you are perpetually engaged in hour by hour, moment by moment, is your personality, your destiny, your whole life story on this earth." So imagine the best. It's all your fantasy, so you might as well choose fantasies in which you win! Funny thing is, it really only matter what you think. Not at all what anyone else thinks. Here's to your happy thinking!! Keep it up. :-D Article Directory: http://www.articledashboard.com Christina Watson is a dynamic life and business coach who believes that all her clients have the power within them to transform their lives.
