Round Nose Pliers
Flat Nose Pliers
Cutters
Box of assorted beads
Nylon/Elastic thread

To make a basic pair of earrings you will need to know how to make a simple loop and use the cutters.

Follow these steps to get the hang of it.

Simple Earrings

Skill Level – Beginner
Allow 10 mins

What you will need

2 Headpins
8 seed beads
2 pink pearl beads
2 Fish hook earring findings
Round nose pliers
Flat nose pliers
Cutters

Instructions

1. Take a head pin and thread on 2 seed beads

2. Take a pearl and thread onto headpin

3. Take 2 more seed beads and thread onto headpin

4. Using your round nose pliers bend the headpin over to a 45 degree angle.

5. Using the cutters, cut the wire leaving approx 5 mm spare

6. Using the round nose pliers bend over the make a loop, leaving a slight gap

7. Take the Fish hook and thread onto head pin loop

8. Close the loop attaching the fish hook to the headpin using the flat nose pliers.
