This is just one of many thousands of older workers who are looking for work and competing with a younger work force. The AARP stated “that even before the recession one quarter of full time workers ages 51 to 55 went through layoffs or lost jobs because an employer went out of business.” Now older workers must learn how to compete for jobs.
