Juice Recipes For Juicers – Improving Your Health

Many people are taking up juicing and it is no secret that it holds a wealth of health benefits. It can significantly improve your energy levels and also help to prevent a variety of health problems like heart disease, diabetes and cancer. Even though everyone is reaching for their blenders to take up this process, many people doesn’t realize what the difference between a blender and a juicer is. Whereas a juicer will take the pieces of fruit or vegetables with the peels and extract the juice, a blender will just make a puree or pulp of the whole combination as it doesn’t separate the two.

Once you have bought yourself a juicer you are ready to start juicing your favourite fruit and vegetables. You can also combine a variety of items to make a combination that you will quickly grow to enjoy. You can go for sweet options too; such as strawberries, apples or grapes; and you can even combine them. They also make great breakfast juices. If you decide to consume green veggies, try to limit them to about two ounces per glass though; since you might experience some stomach discomfort the first few times you drink it.

There are a few basic rules that beginners to juicing should stick to. Firstly, try to avoid bananas and avocados; they tend to bloc your juicer since they have a very soft and pulpy structure. Most vegetables and fruits can be juiced as a whole, but you should try to remove the rind cuts of most citrus choices like oranges and grapefruit. You can retain the white pith of these fruits though, since they usually contain a lot of nutrients that you can add to your juice. Limes and lemons can be juiced with their peels. You can use a variety of combinations until you get a recipe that works for you.

You can be very creative when creating your juice recipes for juicers. You can choose your favourite ones or be bold and try a different combination every few days. If you have a specific health problem, you can do some research on the required vitamins and minerals that you will need; and then juice those items to improve your health. You can also start with one fruit or vegetable and work your way up to complicated combinations as you get used to them. It is a lot of fun to take up juicing and it doesn’t take very long to prepare a glass of freshly juiced vegetables or fruits. Always try to purchase your items from your local fresh produce market or health store. This will ensure that you eliminate the possibility of coming in contact with pesticides or other harmful chemicals.
Fresh juices will not only improve your digestive system, but it will act as a natural detoxifier to the body. You will also notice an increase in your energy levels and an overall improvement in your health.
