After having a really long week, I was able to put the flying ant/termite damage to my house and air conditioning repair bills from this past week in the back of my head over the weekend and hang out by the pool with some friends.
A close friend of mine was telling me that one of her co-workers had an altercation with another co-worker of theirs. She pulled into the parking lot at her work and was sitting in the car for a moment going through her purse when all of a sudden, a man who works in her building opened up her door and said some things that I can't repeat here! He basically tried to black mail her into performing a sexual favor!
Imagine being in her shoes. She could have very well easily been assaulted right there in her own car. She did not have a thing on her or in her car that she could've used to defend herself. She now realizes she should be carrying something, and wanted a 775K Stun Master Stun Gun to keep in her purse at all times, a key chain pepper spray for her key ring, and a lipstick pepper spray to keep on her desk. This was a very wise choice given that nobody would ever know what it truly was. It took her boss a few days before they let this man go. None of these individuals I'm telling you about had expected something of this nature to happen to them when they got up that morning. No one ever does. If you don't have some type of personal protection device on or near you at all times, make sure you take a few minutes out of your day to do so. Also make sure that your loved ones are protected as well. The few dollars you spend on a personal protection device to protect yourself or the lives of those you truly care about which are priceless will be well spent should something ever happen.
