Kanye West "graduation"

"Can't Tell Me Nothing" is the first video to be released off of Kanye West's upcoming album "Graduation". The Hype Williams directed video features one of the more serious and somber songs from Kanye's upcoming albums. The video is simple, slow moving and attractive. It features sweeping panoramic view of Kanye in the desert. A woman stands against the horizon in a colorful billowing gown.

"Can't Tell Me Nothing" is a decent song, but if you like a more upbeat Kanye West you might want to try listening to "Stronger", which samples from the Daft Punk song "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger", a fantastic pairing of Kanye's typically flippant lyrics and Daft Punk's 80's synth sound. The video for stronger debuted on MTV's TRL Wednesday, June 27th, and is sure to be available on YouTube at the time of this writing.

"Bittersweet", a leak from the upcoming album, has a more conversational tone and what has become another favorable pairing for Kanye; that of the pop rock star singing the hook on a Kanye song. This time it is John Mayer (replacing Maroon Fives' Adam Levine, who sang the hook on "Heard 'Em Say" from Kanye's previous album Late Registration). Graduation is expected to be released in late August.
