Kaspersky Internet Security Review

I wrote this Kaspersky Internet Security review after having an opportunity to put this product through it's paces. Hopefully, after reading about my experiences with the product, you’ll have a better understanding of how Kaspersky stacks up against the competition and whether or not the protection the company offers is the best one for you to trust.

We’ve all heard the horror stories of stolen identities and crashed computers, and we’ve all been told to protect our PCs and ourselves with the best internet security option available. But how do you know which is the best? Kaspersky makes it easy. On the front page of their Internet Security 6.0 page, Kaspersky objectively compares itself to its leading competitors, including Symantec, McAfee, Trend and CA.

When the information is broken down into such an easy to read graph, it becomes clear which company is superior. For example, Kaspersky offers the shortest new threat response time (0-2 hours). The next shortest time is offered by Trend, and is up to 6 hours longer. The company also outshines its peers in terms of virus detection rate, detecting 99.57 percent of all threats. Want to take a guess at which company passed the most firewall leak tests? That’s right, Kaspersky.

Kaspersky also offers really useful and unique features such as power saving for laptops, interface appearance change options and anti-spam graphic image analysis. Try to find that anywhere else and you’ll be looking for a long time. Kaspersky also scans HTTP traffic on the fly and suspends scanning during increased usage. If that doesn’t scream user friendly, I don’t know what does.

When all things are considered, Kaspersky is truly the best option out there in terms of internet security. I strongly recommend the product to anyone concerned about the safety of the information on their computer, as well as the actual computer itself. If nothing else, I urge anyone who is even remotely curious to go and take a look at how Kaspersky stacks up to the other companies. I’m sure you’ll find, as I did, that there really is no comparison.
