Going on vacation after a couple of months of hard work is necessary in order to recharge ourselves. There are several choices where you can spend a nice relaxing time or enjoy an adrenaline filled adventure. You can go to a beach or camping, there are many things you can do and places where you can go to have a nice time. One of the most exhilarating activities to do when going on vacation is kayaking. Kayaks are very popular and you can use them in beaches, lakes or rivers. If you are vacationing in a resort you can rent one to have a nice trip through the beach otherwise you will need to buy one in order to use it on areas where a renting places are not available.

There are different types of kayaks. You can use an inflatable one or a solid one. The solid ones you will have to carry it over the top of your car, they also have the advantage that they will not leak air if they are pinched by any floating obstacle. Inflatable ones have the advantage to fit anywhere. You can even carry them on a backpack to anywhere you go they are quite easy to handle. Besides being quite light and they can also fold to take very little space. Another advantage is those kayaks can be inflated very quickly with a standard pump. If you need to travel by airplane to the spot you desire, a solid one is going to be very hard to carry in an airplane. The inflatable you just put it in a suitcase and you are done.

The type of kayak you are going to use depends highly on the activities you are going to do. For simple exploring and adventuring the inflatable kayak offer several advantages however if you are going to do kayak fishing a solid is a better choice. Kayak fishing will require a special type that has a spot where you can fit the fishing rod.

They also have special places where you can sit that are way more comfortable than a standard one. Fishing can sometimes take hours so the sitting area has to be different than an ordinary kayak. In order to fish with a kayak you will probably need to buy a kayak. Kayaks that are normally available for renting are more for adventuring than for fishing although you might get lucky in finding one.
