Keep A Positive Attitude

It is very important to keep a good attitude when going into a bad situation. And you can almost guarantee that when you go to the airport during the holiday season that you are walking into a bad situation. It's not an enviable position, being stuck inside a crowded airport when you should be having fun and spending time with your family and friends, especially during this time of year, but it is one that millions of people each year put themselves through.

So if you find yourself stuck in a crowded airport because of weather delays and other such problems, there are some things that you can do to make your stay a little more comfortable and less of the life sucking experience that it ultimately will be. You can take all sorts of entertainment devices with you to keep your hands and mind busy during those long hours of waiting, you can even take along some of those old fashioned reading devices called books.

But if you do not have any of those, they make these high tech devices that display the pages from the book into the palm of your hand. They are neat little reading devices and the newer ones offer even more features that may keep you happy and entertained for hours on end. Just be sure to get up and walk around every once in a while to stretch your legs and get the circulation back into your extremities.

You can take along all of these devices, cell phones, smart phones, lap tops and Kindles, but if you don’t have one thing else, it still is not going to be a pleasant time. You have to have a positive attitude, which during the holidays should not be too difficult. But if you go into the situation with a negative attitude, knowing that you're going to hate every minute of it, then that is exactly what you're going to get.

Think about how a bad attitude is infectious and if you're in a bad mood, then it is not very long before everybody around you is in a bad mood. The same goes with having a good attitude. If you're positive and pleasant and courteous, it isn't going to be long before the people around see and feel the good vibes and begin to put some out themselves. It is contagious and before long, when everybody around you is in a good mood, the time will not seem so long and the experience will not have been so bad.
