Keeping Keepsakes
The second example I have kept from child are some of his clothes. His starting outfit for example. Even though we put him in just a little sleeper, I still have it. I intend on producing a blanket out of his rare outfits. The third thing I can hold from the beginning years of my little toddler are the special comforters that his grandmas have constructed for him. He sleeps with them still. When he out grows the colors or certain concepts I must put away the rare ones for him. They are something that will be passed on from generation to generation. The fourth memento is his preferred toddler toys. My kid for the first nine months of his time just favored one item. He adored this blue plush doggy with a rattle in it. I still keep it close to my bed because it was something he enjoyed before all the vehicles! The final thing of course I will keep is simply the basic stuff that many mothers keep. I am keeping his hair from his first haircut. I am storing his first lost tooth and his starting artworks. With that said, save anything that is important to you about your child. Someday later you must go through it all and select you will need to get rid of a few things from your list. The selection is all yours. Just recollect the most crucial souvenir is your child.
