Keeping The Marriage Flame Ablaze
Instead, make time to talk to your significant other. Whether it be one hour over dinner or just before you go to bed, make the time to ask them how their day was and ask them about what is going on in life. Remember when you two first met, how you'd spend hours on the phone talking about anything and everything. With time, it isn't possible to sustain that forever, but you can still try to make sure that the two of you still talk about things and keep that communication door open. It's amazing that you can live with someone and hardly know him after some time if you let those doors close or if you neglect to open them. Keeping them open will allow you to keep that closeness no matter how busy either of you get. Keep the passion alive. Remember when you first met, how romantic everything was and how you'd sweep each other away with the slightest of gestures? Well you can do that again, surely, no matter what, as you sweep each other away by making the time for it. At least once a month agree to go on a romantic date, just the two of you, no children, no worries, just you two going to a restaurant and sharing a romantic dinner and then maybe go see a movie or go dancing. If you don't take this special time apart for yourselves you will lose each other, lose the magic of your romantic bond in the haze of business and busy schedules and a hectic day. Keeping the passion alive can be an easy thing if you take the time and if you are both willing. You can spend the day in one Sunday and just take a bubble bath and watch a movie or make dinner together or go for a walk. Even doing small ordinary things is just wonderful as long as you two do it together, and then you two would keep that bond and never worry about losing it no matter how many years go by. After all this is the person you love and care for the most and keeping this alive will really make both of you happier.
