Kenya Beach Holiday, Perfect For Vacations And Relaxation

Though not so popular like the wildlife parks, Kenya has lots of pure beaches that tourists chill and relax especially after along tour in the different parks of Kenya.


Known to be unblemished and divine they are very attractive that they flourish with tourists especially in the summer. Beaches are lined with protective coral reefs, creating ideal waters for swimming and water sports like diving, rafting, skiing, snorkeling and sports fishing. The magical coastline of Kenya has beaches from South Mombasa, through Malindi, Watumu and north to Lamu.

The greenish blue waters of the Indian Ocean meeting with the Coral reefs result into exhilarating sceneries. The south Mombasa coastline flourishes with palm trees making it an excellent beach for relaxing. The southern coastline is also surrounded by verdant rainforests and it’s a home to abundant plants and animals. There is also the Shimoni a small city that is known for its fishing industry and has myriad coastal caves that open to thick forests. Kilifi creek at the north coastline of Mombasa is a home to a famous port that is a big site for yachting. Beaches famous here are Kikambala, Nyali, Shunzu and Vipingo and many more that adorn these areas.

Nyari in Malindi is gifted by a stunning depression referred to as “Hell’s Kitchen” that has gorges that are Magnificent and nature gifted. In Watumu is the Marine National park a favorite place for divers and snorkellers to spend a weekend.

Lamu Island is another important attraction among the beaches of Kenya. The island has retained its allure and character that was built up over the past centuries. Linked by ferry the Island has no motorized transport. The road to Lamu is not good and if you are to take busses the journey is and while there are buses, the journey is dreary. The island is a must see place for those exploring the waters of Kenya. . Lamu has a large number of villages on the coastline. The region is strictly Muslim therefore you have to be strict about your dress code.

Kenya’s has lots of beaches to go to after your rip or for a weekend that are really scenic and active all year round. So while on your trip to Kenya spend at least one day on one of the nearby beaches and you won’t regret your decision.
