Key Rings

Picked up a lost key ring lately? What does a person’s key ring tell you about the owner? What is on your key ring?

You find some people just have a bunch of keys on a key ring, very functional and impersonal. Those are no fuss, no nonsense people. You can be sure that their personal lives will probably match the key ring and they’ll be task driven and orientated in their lives. They will take charge of their environment and their friends; their lives will run like clockwork; planned and precise. It is very possible that they will have separate key rings for separate places, like a set for the house, with only the keys necessary for the house, and another set for the office, with only the keys to the office and perhaps an identifying tag on the key ring. They will probably have a specific place to store the keys and will never lose them. These no nonsense people will also choose a perfume with little fuss and pretence. Their clothes will mirror their minimalism.

Then you get the “jail keeper’s” key ring. They will have several key rings hooked onto one another, all their keys in one big bunch. There will be keys to their car, house, office, the cellar, the attic, grandma’s house and a lot of unused and unidentified keys. Old keys that they keep on telling themselves that they’ll get rid of them someday, but they would rather hang on to them, just in case. They just keep on adding more and more keys to the key ring. The will carry their keys with them wherever they go, never wanting or leaving them out of sight. Their choice in clothing and perfume will be equally busy, perhaps even loud.

Or have you seen some fancy toy on a key ring? Perhaps a stuffed little animal, or a frilly flower, or a small shoe, a toy car or even a doll? Some of these toys on key rings can be frilly, plain, bold or feminine. These people often put the toy or something fancy on the key ring so that they can easily detect the key ring in a hurry in a clutter. They will have several keys on the key ring, but it would all probably still be current keys and all still in use. It is unlikely that you will find old and unused keys on their key rings. They will not always have a designated place to put their keys and will probably just drop them somewhere the minute they get indoors or at the office. Sometimes the key ring will land in a handbag or in a shopping carry bag. With the toy attached, it will be easy to find if you dig around for it.

In place of the little toy, you can even hook on a miniature perfume bottle onto the key ring. The bottle will give off a pleasant fragrance while you are holding the keys, as long as there is perfume in the little bottle. This is also one sure way to always have your favorite perfume with you at all times.
