Kidney Stones Symptoms Can Be Really Painful

Ouch! Pain! Oh, my belly; oh my side; oh, my back. Those are the words, along with some other words perhaps not so nice, that you will say if you are enduring kidney stones symptoms. The aching pain that you experience from kidney stones symptoms is normally the first tell that you have developed a kidney stone.

Hard minerals and acid deposits make up kidney stones and they gather on the inside of the kidneys. These deposits are commonly diluted or broken down by urine and proceed through the bladder without being noticed. However, if the urine becomes concentrated, the minerals crystallize and the stones get to be too big to pass and that is when the anguish starts.

The fact that you are feeling pain means that the kidney stone has mobilized. It is not settled down inside the kidney; instead it is trying to pass from the kidney and through the ureter. Once that mobilization starts, you'll more than likely experience these other kidney stones symptoms:

• Urine that is cloudy, foul-smelling or you may find it mixed with blood
• Urinary tract pain and frequent urination
• Increased pain if you try to flush out your system by increasing your water intake
• Sickness, flu-like symptoms including vomiting

When experiencing kidney stones symptoms, you'll feel the pain in your sides and back, just below the ribs and it'll tend to fluctuate with extreme periods of pain that may last up to 60 minutes at a time. People will often share stories about a painful bout with kidney stones, but it is important to note that you can suffer from kidney stones without suffering the anguish. Sometimes they will show up on X-rays when being treated for something totally unrelated, or are determined to be the cause of a persistent continual urinary tract infection. If you become suspicious and think that you have a kidney stone, don’t wait around for the pain to start; seek treatment immediately.
