Kinsale Arts Week

Head to the costal resort of Kinsale, 25km south of Cork city, this summer and celebrate artistic talent at its best. It features a jam-packed programme of events as well as a number of free outdoor gigs.

Involvement from the local community is encouraged with a series of on-going projects throughout the year. The festival is also an excellent opportunity for local artists to showcase their work. Performances can be held at any location in the town, as the organisers endeavour to use every possible space such as boats, churches, the harbour and on the streets.


Visiting acts this year include Ska Cubano, hosting a Cuban Extravaganza on Saturday the 12th of July and award winning singer Elkie Brooks takes to the stage on Saturday the 19th of July. The venue for both events is the historic Charles Fort.
