When you can save many hundreds of dollars over the life of just one LED replacement bulb, you can start to get an idea of the amount of money (and energy) that you can pocket by replacing all of the light bulbs in your home with LED replacement bulbs.

So, is there a downside ? Presently LED replacement bulbs are fairly expensive, as you might expect. However, as the manufacturing costs become less, and they become the industry standard, that will, of course change. Regardless of the present cost though, you can still save such a large amount of money, and dramatically decrease your power usage in the process, they are still a very attractive option for lighting your residence.
