Lg Venus Review

In a world where fashion and style cast their influence on much of any consumer market, ignoring such things is near impossible. Instead, most mobile phone designers seek to embrace the heights of fashion and style, while at the same time not skimping on the features and practicality of the mobiles phones itself. Many try, few succeed, but occasionally there are some phones that not only do succeed, but surpass all imaginable limitations; such as the LG Venus.

Features of the LG Venus

Ever since the Chocolat and onwards, LG has seemed to have been seeking that special combination that just 'clicks' with consumers. With the new LG Venus, they may even have got just what they desired. Most notably are the touch sensitive buttons below the screen that are also task sensitive. Known to LG as the InteractPad, these buttons 'change' and 'shift' according to the tasks that are being performed, giving a whole new range of flexibility and usage efficiency to the LG Venus mobile phone users. Amazingly, for such an advanced interactive feature it seems to have been pulled off to perfection, and is stunningly practical.

Apart from the revolutionary interface, the Venus packs along with it a standard collection of features that may have been expected. Beneath the cover of the LG Venus lies a 3.0 megapixel camera for image and video capture, microSD card compatibility for up to 8GB storage, music player that supports most known formats, FM Radio, Bluetooth and USB connectivity, as well as Java Games support.

Stylish yet Complete

No doubt, the LG Venus is a 'cool' phone to have around. With a beautiful, and very large screen that seamlessly meshes with the touch sensitive buttons below it, this mobile phone can't help but be an attraction no matter which one of the many colours it so happens to be in. Perhaps it should be noted that the LG Venus is not the slimmest or sleekest phone on the market, but it is not too chunky either.

Instead, the LG Venus seems to strike a certain balance that leaves it fitting pretty well within hand, and at the same time providing that little twinge of power that comes with having a mobile phone complete with the latest technology. Further enhancing this particular avenue is the fact that it gives off a hybrid vibe; a different sort of phone for a different sort of age.

As more and more phones embrace stunning new functionality and very often compromise the core practicality while doing so, it is extremely nice to come across a phone that does not. For certain it may not be the 'best' in some aspects, but as one of the good mobile phone deals around, it does not disappoint and delivers up to expectations that are, of course, pretty high.

Despite not being a minimalist's phone, the LG Venus can appeal to anyone really through looks alone. When coupled with the gradual reputation that it is building as a stable and practical phone as well, its appeal seems set to cross even more boundaries.
