Learning how to practice guitar playing is not as simple as some may imagine. This activity requires lots of concentration and preparation to become a good musician. If you are thinking of making a career out of it you have to be dedicated 24/7 to it. First things first. You need your instrument and accessories. Start with a good guitar otherwise you will be disappointed if your first chords do not sound very well because of the instrument. Accessories are also important. So, try to purchase in advance the guitar effects pedals, a pedaltrain, amplifiers, a special chair, strings, strands and so on. All these will help you a lot, but it is still up to you to learn to impress your friends.

If you want to learn how to practice guitar playing the best way is to create your own style. If you find it hard to learn the chords directly on the guitar try drawing them on a piece of paper. Draw where your fingers should be for each of the sounds. Try to come up with your own helping tricks that will make everything easier.

Even though this is not basketball you need to be prepared physically too. Warm your hands, loosen your finger joints by flexing them, find a comfortable position on a chair and so on. If you are not comfortable you could get tired immediately, so make sure the guitar rests on one of your feet. Which one? If you are right-handed like the majority of people, rest it on you left foot and vice versa.

Following all these steps you should be able to learn rapidly and play at least your favorite songs. But don’t overdo it. Take a break from once in a while so that your hand can rest. You will need it for autograph signing in a few years.
