Learn How The San Diego Go Card Gets You Into Sea World

Ever been to Southern California on vacation? If not, in addition to looking forward to the sun and fun, be prepared to spend more than a little money to see the sights and visit the attractions. That's the bad news; the good is that with the purchase of a San Diego Go Card, not only will the entire family vacation budget go further this year, but everyone will reap the gift of more vacation time as well.

If the obvious question of how more time will be coming to one's family on vacation simply by the purchase of a discount card seems incredulous, it's really not. One of the nearly hidden little gems of the Go card deals with the relationship its developers have with the area attractions. These folks have worked hard to get card holders the permission to bypass the lines of unsuspecting tourists who must wait to buy their entrance tickets to the attraction.

The reality is the Go Card holder has already paid their fees to enter that park, museum, or other attraction, so there's no reason they need stand in those lines. Lines which, by the way, can often times take hours to navigate—especially during the warmer summer months when so many families head to the sunny San Diego get-aways.

Many vacationers choose to purchase the Go Card simply for these time savings. But add in the over 48 attractions which are included in its purchase price, and there really is no excuse for anyone planning on spending time in San Diego visiting sights not to buy one.

Another great aspect of the card is that while everyone in the family must have their own, parents and children alike, there are no restrictions on which card gets its holder into an attraction. Essentially this means, for example, a family of four may have plans on heading to a theme park like Legoland in the Carlsbad, CA area (just north of San Diego proper). But should one of the older children decide the park is a little young for them, a parent can whisk this child off and the two of them get to visit some place of more interest. Chances are the parent who chooses to leave will have a better time knowing both of the kids are happy as well.

The San Diego Go Card recently added, free of extra charges, admission to Sea World Marine Park. While this addition is only valid for multi-day cards of 3 or more consecutive days, the savings are enormous. With good planning, there's every opportunity to not only save money at the water park, but savvy vacationers can also get another attraction or show in during the day and really reap massive savings.

There is so much to do in San Diego, that good planning is going to be necessary whether or not one purchases a discount card. The San Diego Zoo, possibly one of the world's finest along with its sister attraction, the Wild Animal Park will delight and amaze everyone on this vacation. And this only covers three possible destinations. There simply is no more room or time to discuss the many tours of historic and military interest; the museums, a safe, guided tour of Tijuana, Mexico, or the kayaking, snorkeling and biking available in lovely La Jolla. And all-inclusive in the price of the San Diego Go Card purchase.
