Learn How To Make Wine At Home
This is the fermentation media. This is time to add acid, sugar and nutrients to this media. Finally add yeast to the fermentation media for the start of fermentation process. Once you add all the required components keep the container covered for 3 days to 10 days in the primary appropriate size fermentation vessel at 70-75 degrees Fahrenheit. So once you feel the fermentation process is fairly done, drain the liquid from the container to another container and that would be the other fermentation vessel, preferably a jug or carboy. Now keep the secondary container perfectly airtight. Then allow the fermentation to advance sixty to sixty five degrees Fahrenheit until all bubbling stops. This phase will be attained after several weeks. Then siphon out the wine and see that the sediments are not disturbed. Now attach the fermentation trap again. Repeat after other 1 or 2 months and before bottling. So after few times you will get a clear wine and there will be no more fermentation. Hence when you find wine is clean and all fermentation has ceased, you must siphon into the bottles for storage and seal it properly. They allow the corked bottles for three to five days to one week and then store them on their side at fifty five degrees Fahrenheit for 6 months for white wine and up to a year for red wine. Then you can go for sampling. In case you don't find the product matching to your expectation then you can allow it to become old for more time starting from six months to one year.
