I intensely remember our manager making the grand announcement. We were all departing on a trip to meet and greet a collection of would-be clients in Hawaii. Wow, Hawaii! My body was going through the all too well known response to the thought of flying. I never ended up leaving to Hawaii, I just couldn't go through with it...

What I did do, was make a decision. I made a decision that no matter what, I would unearth a way to beat my fear of flying!

And the good news is: I did!

Through a long and pricey process involving different therapies and remedies, I finally was able to eliminate my terror of flying fully. In fact, I just came back from a wonderful trip to Paris with my beautiful wife. The fear was simply gone!

This is a effortless exercise that really helped me in overcoming my feelings of anxiety and stress.
It's called:

Abdominal Breathing.

When our anxiety and ill feeling levels increase, our breathing changes to shallow, chest level breathing. Sadly, breathing this way tends to amplify your apprehension, and even causes us to experience like we are trapped.
Deep abdominal breathing can help fill your body with the feelings of quietness. By activating our body's parasympathetic nervous system, it sends a 'wellness' massage to the rest of the body.

The next time you start feeling angst and nervousness build up in your body, try taking several long, deep breaths.This really works, so please give it a try!
