Learning To Play The Guitar The Right Way With Guitar Super Stars
There are many programs out there that help you learn to play the guitar, and many of them have some good points, but that's it. They have SOME good points. Some may help you learn a bunch of new chords, others may teach you to improve your picking technique, some may teach you to play riffs and patterns with ease, and the list goes on. However, almost none of them teach you all these points that are necessary to become a top notch player. This is where I found Guitar Super Stars really excelled. Not only does it cover all these points and more (they even go as far as showing you the steps necessary to use your new found skills to start a career) but you have the benefit of learning from 7 different teachers, all with their own unique styles, skills, and areas of expertise. As for the actual lessons themselves, there is no shortage of great video lessons for you to learn from (apparently when the program first launched on physical media, it took 10 VHS tapes or 4 DVD's just for the introductory lesson). All the material is set up in a step by step format and is easily accessible from the internet and can be watched at your leisure. They are also adding new videos to the members area all the time so you will never have to worry about getting bored with the program. Now keep in mind, like learning any other musical instrument (or skill for that matter) this is NOT some magic pill you swallow before bed and suddenly wake up able to rip through the toughest guitar solos with ease. You WILL have to put the time and effort into this if you want to improve, but with a program as effective as this, you will be set on the right path to improve your playing leaps and bounds.
