Like A Good Scare? Read The New Russell Solomon Book
This mystery thriller was written by a man who knows a lot about both words and bones. Russell Solomon is a journalist in Los Angeles, Calif. One of his hobbies is bones, and he considers himself an amateur paleontologist. Solomon is a member of the Southern California Paleontological Society and recently spent some time working at an active dig in the Mojave Desert. This means he enjoys finding and unearthing various fossils. Solomon’s knowledge of bones has helped him with his writing process. His book is a combination of two loves – writing and paleontology. This is quite obvious in “The Lost Pendulum of Montrose,” as his main character, Thomas Hansen, is brought in to a small town in New Hampshire to figure out why there are bones of 12 women in a mass grave, along with ancient relics. The troublesome fact is that one of the relics has ancient cryptic markings adorned on it. These markings are associated with a certain occult, which brings about even more questions. The acclaimed author Adrienne Monahan loves this new book, and she said she believes it has the rare ability to keep a reader’s attention from start to finish. She believes Russell Solomon creates a story that easily comes alive, and people won’t be able to put it down. However, those who don’t like to read anything scary should probably find another book. For everyone else, they will have to wait patiently for Solomon’s next book, which is already in the works.
