Lingerie - More Than Just Looks

There is much more to lingerie than meets the eye - so to speak. Of course, we all know about bras and panties in their various shapes and styles, but there is so much more. Why not try something different? You could choose a basque for instance. This is an updated version of the old corset, but much less restricting and lots prettier. Some are designed to be seen through an opened blouse or used in place of one. If you want to draw the waist in a little a basque is for you.

Madonna made the bustier popular and now it is often worn instead of a blouse, with leave-on suit jacket. Some are hot; others are elegant and discreet.


If you like wearing close-fitting clothes then a body stocking may be the answer to all those annoying seam lines that show through. A body stocking covers you from toes to bust; a body suit is similar but without the long legs. These are great for wearing with jeans or skirts, giving you a top that does not ride up.

A camisole is another handy piece of lingerie, giving you a bit more cover under that sheer top or blouse, or worn as the main top. It covers you from bust to hips but provides no support like a bra or bustier would.
