Liquid Vitamins Supply Better Nutrients

Eating healthy is on a lot of people’s minds these days, but a U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Health and Nutrition Examination Study (NHANES) has found that many Americans’ diets are in poor condition. The problem is not due to a lack of food, but a lack of nutritious foods that supply the vitamins and minerals our bodies depend on to function correctly.

In 1992, The Earth Summit Report indicated that the Earth’s soil is 95% depleted of the nutrients necessary for basic survival. The worst fact is that America’s soils are at the highest percentage (85%) of all industrialized countries in the world. This report also disclosed that 92% of Americans are deficient in vitamins and minerals necessary for a healthy life. Unfortunately, that same statistic can be found 56 years earlier in the 74th U.S. Congress and Senate (Document 264.)

Whether you are underweight or overweight, getting the nutrients the human body requires is relatively easy if a varied diet, extremely high in vegetables and fruits, is practiced and finding a complete plant based nutritional supplement. Foremost attention to ingredients and absorption rates should be in this selection process.

According to the 1996 Physician’s Desk Reference (page 1542), Liquids have a 98-99% absorption rate versus traditional pills and/or capsules having a 10% to 20% absorption rate (variation based on the fillers and extra carrier molecules used in manufacturing). The 10%-20% even goes lower for senior citizens, since more digestive effort is required in that age group. In June 2002, the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) recommended that it would be prudent (regardless of age or health status) to take a multivitamin daily. Finding a quality nutritional supplement that is complex, effective and properly balanced may be difficult, but not impossible.

Avoid any supplement that has artificial fillers, colors, flavors, sugars or has the phrase “natural and artificial flavors.” This phrase is a FDA Label Line that allows manufactures to insert additional chemical ingredients without having to list them individually. All the above listed cautions do not help the body perform optimally; in fact those ingredients hinder the body. Furthermore, be cautious of ingredients like talc, sucralose and aspartame, which may cause adverse health effects.

Search for a liquid nutritional supplement that is plant based. A plant based nutritional supplement offers the highest amounts of phytonutrients and antioxidants, which are strongly beneficial and effective to obtain optimal health.
