Live In The Now
Living in the now means not living in or wanting for the past. The past is just that, the past. We can learn through the lessons of our past experiences, incorporating those lessons in the now. For some, the past is not a pleasant memory, but yields a sword of pain. That I why it is so important to bless those experiences and then let them go. Sometimes the memories of the past are of “the good old days” and we wish we were back in that time, able to relive the precious memories again. But we can not go backward in time. We can only live in the now, every moment new and fresh for creating our future memories. What of the future? Those fanciful dreams of times yet to come. What harm can that be? Living in the future, your missing your the life in front of you right now! And there are dangers of being stuck in the now as well, if you keep doing the same things that your doing, saying the same things that your saying, living the same life that your living now, how can you expect a change in the future? The direction of your life can change for the positive, but only in letting go of the past and not getting stuck dreaming of the future. Living in the now offers you limitless possibilities. Living in the now lets you choose just where you want to be, and the path you take to get there, growing now ever in the present. You can't live in the past, your no longer that same person. You can choose to live in the future, but as who, you are not yet that person. You alone have the final decision in which way you want to go. So why not “Carpe Diem” and live in the now? I'd like to quote a few sentences from my book entitled “Inspirations.” On page 43 it says: “Have confidence in yourself and your abilities and know that whatever you do will turn out fine. You can do it! You are programmed for success...
