London St Patrick’s Day Festival From 9th To 17th March 2009

The main events in honour of St Patrick will take place on the 15th of March in various areas of London, but many events will take place before and after, making amusement last several days. In this regard, visitors will have the possibility to taste some typical dishes also thanks to the stands on various squares. And it is on streets and squares that a joyful atmosphere will mainly spread, above all on the 15th of March, when St Patrick’s festival and parade will take place. The festival will be held in Trafalgar Square and will host, from 12:00 to 6:00, various performances of Irish music bands and dance companies, which will certainly involve the audience, while the parade will go through some of the most representatives areas of the city. From Hyde park Corner to Whitehall Palace, through Piccadilly, Lower Regent Street and Trafalgar Square, the parade will bring music and cheerfulness in various zones of London, with its traditional store of floats, music bands, dancers and much more.
