How can you get there? Traveling to the island is possible via plane. There are a few airports that serve as access points to Long Island. Ferry services are also popular means of transportation to the island, which is near the mainland New York State. Many people also get access to Long Island via their cars. Hotel booking should be part of your vacation plan. Also, consider inquiring about car rental services long before the scheduled trip. 5. Pack things appropriately. Do not include items that may only serve as bulk. Only bring things you most likely would need. Include OTC medications, identifications, a camera, and some personal care stuff.
