All affiliates will jump on the popular and high converting products and use any blackhat techniques available to them, leaving you in behind in their dust. Selling physical products is not just great for those affiliate marketers just starting online, but really for anyone serious about their online business, as it should really be one of your business models to make an income in the mid to longer term online.

You are probably still thinking why should i sell physical products as the payout is only 3-5% and if i can make a lot more by just selling one info product! Just think how many affiliates are selling the exact same info product, so why should they buy from you, especially if you haven't build up the much needed trust with your visitors as much. You just jump on their promotion trail and provide the visitor with the info they want to see.

What I am trying to say is that people who are looking for physical products online already have been convinced that that product is what they want. The reason why they go online is to get that last bit of convincing that indeed they are making the right decision. They are in a buying mood already, so all you need to do is to provide them that important info they are looking for. Your visitor is dragged over the line by what they see on your site and buy there and then, through your link.

The merchant you are affiliated with will do the rest for you and you just made a sale, congratulations. It is that simple with selling physical products online. You don't need to do the pre-selling as you would with info products as most people will never have heard of the info products online.

Yes marketers will, but somebody with a problem they are looking to solve, may by accident land on your site and see the info about a info product they have never heard of. Would they buy there and then, the changes are very slim as they probably want to find out more about that product so goes away to do some more research and may never come back to your site again.

It is a lot easier to sell physical products online as you can rank easily in the search engines for product names. You will also be able to drive a lot more traffic, which in turn means more potential buyers, which are already in a buying mood when they arrive at your site.
