Looking For Quality Link Exchanges

Have you thought about doing link exchanges? If so, you want to link to quality websites. Although this article is brief, it provides a couple of tips that will have you doing quality link exchanges.

I wanted to get a more to my traffic, and therefore started looking into some of the search engine placement, site promotion, and exchanging links with a few folks that are available on the internet. What I found to increase traffic to my site were:

First I first went to a few "Post Your Link Here" for free places. A few worked well, however, most showed little return on the effort.

Thus, I next started visiting some of these link exchange places, where folks get together and exchange their links and all. On the surface, it looked great. And, if you pay attention to how the links are exchanged, and where, it can be a real boost. Only exchange links with sites that have the same theme as your site.

Please keep in mind, however, that links to free sites can have questionable benefits since many search engines view them as one entity.

Therefore, the question is are these "search engine scams"? No, not in the truest sense of the word "scam". Remember, you get what you pay for. In fact, it can be a benefit to some who have the time and money to put into this type of work.
