There are plenty of manufacturers out there claiming that they are the best electronic cigarette company you can ever have. Well, they can all claim to be all day but make sure that you are equipped with all the necessary information and factors that will help your assess whether the company is indeed the best or not. As for me, I have several factors that I am considering before labeling a company the best or not. As a matter of fact, I even use these factors to review whether they are eligible to be labeled as a legitimate company or not.

The first and foremost factor that I consider in assessing an electronic cigarette company is if they are compliant to the regulations and policies promulgated by the Food and Drug Administration or any relevant agency in your country. This is because there have been several issues in the past that put this kind of product in under the control and regulation of the relevant government agencies.

This is because in 2010, the Food and Drugs Administration of the United States announced to the public that they will begin to regulate the electronic cigarettes going to the market for retail and consumption. The reason behind this is because of the findings of the said agency that the products contain drug and the delivery device. This is due to the clinical examination conducted by the Pharmaceutical Analysis Division of the FDA in May 2009, which states the 19 varieties of e-cartridges that were test contain diethylene glycol. The actual amount of nicotine in the product is also fluctuation and lacks consistency, which puts the credibility of the product into question.

Furthermore, there were also findings that detected some levels of nicotine to products that claim to be a nicotine-free cigarette.

However, these claims of the Food and Drugs Administration were refuted by the Electronic Cigarette Association. This is because they think that the study and test conducted by the later was done with insignificant sample size. In this light, the latter said the former cannot generalize basing on the very unscientific sampling they did.

Another factor for me in determining the best electronic cigarette company is considering their legitimacy through membership to the Electronic Cigarette Association. I have considered this because this one separates from the other manufacturers of the product that have been really abusive in their claims on their marketing strategies. It is because there are some companies that put claim in the labels without seeking approval first from the authorities just for the sake of making the product more marketable.
