Losing Belly Fat, The Easy And Fast Way

Losing belly fat is crucial if you want to develop your abs. It is important that you first get rid of the excess fat. A cardiovascular program is the best way to eliminate body fat. Cardiovascular exercises such as running, cycling, walking and jogging are quite effective in eliminating excess fat. Doing any of these exercises for at least 30 minutes a day can be quite effective. For maximum fat loss, it is recommended that you do your cardiovascular training in the morning. You should do these exercises before you eat your first meal.


Doing these exercises early in the morning on an empty stomach has various advantages. In the morning, the level of your muscles and glycogen are normally low. If for example you eat your dinner at 7 pm and your breakfast at 7 am, you will have gone for 12 hours without food. During the 12 hours, your levels of glycogen slowly decline so as to provide glucose to the body for the various functions that go on when you are asleep.

When you wake up in the morning, you will have low levels of both glycogen and blood sugar. This is the best environment for you to burn fat instead of carbohydrates. Studies suggest that more fat is burned when cardio exercises are done in a glycogen-depleted state.

Carbohydrates or glycogen is your body’s energy source and therefore when this primary source is scarce, the body is forced to tap into the secondary energy source; body fat. This is why doing cardiovascular exercises in the morning will help you burn more fat. Losing belly fat is the first step in developing and revealing your abs.
