This marketing model has expand a $32 billion industry in the United States and over 110 billion worldwide. There are various products that are sold through this marketing model such as pet products, gourmet food products, kitchen ware, cosmetics, nutritional products, baby products, bath and bedding products. You name it and some company is probably selling it using this marketing model. And in fact this marketing model is continuing to grow every single year. "In 2006, over 58 million people worldwide were employed by this marketing model".
What is this model we've been talking about? It's called MLM or Multi-Level Marketing. It is also called by other names such as network marketing or direct selling. But the difference is that while affiliate programs are either single tier or double tier, network marketing has multiple tiers. That means that you get sells overrides and not only on the affiliate sales that you make but the affiliate sales that other people make that you've introduced to the MLM business and had the chance to learn about MLM business opportunity.
However, multi level marketing has gained a bad reputation with some people over the years. Some people say it's a pyramid scheme and only a few people at the top make a lot of money. If you look at the shape of the MML organization it does look like a pyramid. And the people at the top normally do make a lot of money and in fact they can make insane amounts of money. But how is that any different from any other business given the fact that the executives and management in a corporation make a lot of money. But here's the difference, in the corporate world, to move up someone had to quit, get fired or die. And to get a decent paying job you had to have a degree from some university. In the corporate world people were rarely paid based on the value they created for the company. In fact there's a ceiling in the income you could make in every position that you held. In the corporate world, very few executives above you were ever concerned about your personal success. Even you had to be at the office at 8am, had the request vacations and have my time controlled by people and worst thing of all if you didn't work you didn't get paid. Now compare that to network marketing, in network marketing your income is directly proportional to your skills and efforts. There's no ceiling on the amount of money that you could make. You don't have to have a degree in anything. You can be a stay home mom and still make a lot of money if you work hard and your smart.
In network marketing you cannot and never will be successful if you do not help the people below you to be successful. In network marketing you set your own hours. No one sets hours for you. In network marketing you get paid residual income. That means that if you stop working for a few days or even months you still keep getting paid. You can even make thousands of dollars during your vacation. You can also experience an automatic marketing in MLM. Multi level marketing has the fairest compensation model. It can generate a residual income that has the power to create a very comfortable lifestyle. But it's not easy and not everyone can do it. Just like it's not easy to be successful in the corporate world and not everyone has what it takes to be an executive in a company. It takes tenacity, will power, and good communication skills. MLM is one of the best vehicles for building wealth. For those who are willing to dedicate themselves to the craft and it is by far the most successful marketing model ever invented. Remember to be successful in this business all you need to do is start a friendship with someone new everyday. Invite someone new to hear your company story everyday. Or follow up with someone that you've told that story too everyday and then start teaching other people to do the same thing.
