I have to laugh! Those people are only telling you a small part of the story and it's time that someone pulled back the curtain and told you the TRUTH!
When people started figuring out that you could make a huge passive income with AdSense in 2004, there are some who immediately began looking for ways to "game the system".
They developed intricate schemes for building "black hat" web sites that would scrapes thousands and millions of pages of other people's content to create their OWN websites and make money with AdSense.
They created software that would manufacture useless page after useless page that was designed for nothing more than irritating a site visitor so much that they would click on an AdSense ad to escape the spammy pages!
Essentially, they would look for any whole in the system and exploit it to pad their bank accounts with AdSense profits ill-gained.
This approach was bad for the internet. It was bad for site visitors who ended up at garbage sites that did not address their needs. It was bad for Google advertisers because they were not reaching their target market and having to pay dearly for each click. And it wasn't good for Google who looked bad when their ads displayed on inferior pages. The only one this system was good for were the people making the garbage pages and cluttering the search engines with them!
And then it happened...
Google got wise and said "No more!"
Those who thought they would coast on their schemes for building crappy websites and cashing AdSense checks had a rude awakening. Their AdSense revenue dropped virtually overnight to a small percentage of what they were earning before. For these people, AdSense was indeed... dead. But WISE website owners had a different approach to AdSense. It was the common sense method and it is what I have been teaching from the very beginning! Here is the common sense method. Build content-rich websites featuring information that people can actually USE. Google will be thrilled to send traffic to sites like this, and in the natural turn of events, site visitors will be happy to click ads that are relevant to the site content when they find a link useful. Google wins by having their ads display on quality websites. Advertisers win by reaching their target market and receiving true value for each click. And most importantly, website owners win by building a loyal readership and enjoying passive AdSense revenue as they continue to grow their business!
As for the whiny babies who are crying because they can't make the system work to their advantage any more, I assure you that they have moved on to discover new ways to line their pockets online while contributing nothing of value to the Internet community.
Here's the bottom line...
Google continues to make more advertising revenue each and every year, which means they are paying out more AdSense revenue to publishers who play by the rules. Again, this is exactly what I have been teaching since my first ebook came out in January 2005!
